Abstract:
Carboxy reactivity of coal and coke reactivity are the reduction reaction of carbon and CO2 at higher temperature,which are greatly influenced by coal property.To confirm their relationship,taking gas coal,fat coal,primary coking coal,1/3 coking coal and gasfat coal as experimental samples,test the carboxy reactivity of single coal and the corresponding coke reactivity,the latter is coked on 40 kg stamping coke oven.The results show that,the measurement of coke reactivity is more complex and requires high-reliable equipments than that of carboxy reactivity of single coal comparing from sample amount,reaction time and operation methods.So the former could be replaced by the latter while there isn’t enough time and sample amount,then deduce the CRI with the experimental data.There is better correlativity between the carboxy reactivity of the selected coal and corresponding coke reactivity,and the correlation coefficient is 0.99.
