The International Energy Agency (IEA) report points out that CCUS technology will undertake 8% of the global carbon reduction task, and the new generation of breakthrough technologies is reshaping the industrial landscape. China is accelerating the strategic layout of CCUS, with strong support from policy technology dual wheel drive. The Ministry of Science and Technology's "14th Five Year Plan" key special project clearly supports the efficient conversion of CO ₂ and geological storage monitoring technology; The National Development and Reform Commission will prioritize the support of CCUS in the "Green and Low Carbon Advanced Technology Demonstration Catalogue"; The newly revised "Management Measures for Carbon Emission Trading" allow key emission units to offset their quotas with CCUS emission reductions for the first time, igniting a new breakthrough in industrial investment.
