Abstract: Coal-fired power plants contaminate the environment in the form of flue gas,wastewater,noise and solid waste.The fossil-fuel power plant atmospheric pollutant emission standard,enacted in 2010,limit the pollutant emission of coal-fired power plants.Based on the technical process,analyse the pollutant discharge situation of each component and relevant pollution control methods.The effective method is consummating power plant environment protection technologies,paying close attention to the operation of power plant.
